Stitch and Think

I am working with a group of artists that experiment with stitch in their artwork. Our starting point was a visit to the Georgian House Museum in Bristol that holds a beautiful collection of stitched samplers made by orphans, dating from the early Victorian period. We are currently working towards an exhibition in the summer of 2012, inspired by this collection. I am developing a stitched set of samplers using plasters.
